Trauma-Informed Therapeutic Support

Emotional, Psychosocial and Nervous System Support in Cleveland, Tinana and online
Many women who come to Emjay are carrying a lot.
Burnout. Long-term stress. ADHD overwhelm. Emotional fatigue. Hormonal shifts. Life that has quietly become too heavy.
They are functioning, but not really okay.
They feel stretched thin, disconnected from themselves, and unsure where to start.
These Therapeutic Support sessions offer a steady, grounded space to slow things down, make sense of what is happening in your body and mind, and receive support that fits real life. Not theory. Not pressure. Not fixing.
Sessions are available in Cleveland on the Redlands Coast, in Tinana near Maryborough on the Fraser Coast, or online across Australia.

What Happens in a Therapeutic Support Session
You do not need the right words.
You do not need a clear story or timeline.
You are welcome exactly as you are.
In each session, Belinda may:
-
Listen carefully to what has been happening in your life
-
Help you understand how your nervous system is responding to stress, ADHD, hormones or past experiences and notice any patterns or loops
-
Notice how your body is communicating through tension, pain, fatigue, shutdown or skin changes
-
Offer somatic support to help your system feel safer and more settled
-
Reflect patterns that keep repeating in thoughts, emotions, relationships or coping
-
Support you to find simple, kind next steps that fit your actual energy and circumstances
These sessions are not rushed or clinical.
They are steady, shame-aware, and guided by what you can manage on the day.
ADHD Support for Women and Busy Brains
Many women are recognising ADHD traits later in life, or strongly relate without a formal diagnosis.
ADHD is often intertwined with trauma, masking, perfectionism, people-pleasing and years of pushing through. These sessions offer a safe place to unpack that without judgement.
Together we may explore:
-
How ADHD traits have shaped your coping and sense of self
-
Why focus, planning and follow-through feel so hard under pressure
-
How shame, rejection sensitivity and shutdown have been showing up
-
Ways to reduce decision fatigue and internal pressure
-
Gentle structure that supports your brain rather than fighting it
-
Sensory needs, nervous system cues and practical tools that are kind, not harsh
You do not need to be organised, productive or “on top of things” to come in. This is a space where your brain and body are not judged.
NDIS, Psychosocial and Wellbeing Support
Belinda holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Blue Card and Yellow Card and has lived experience in aged care and disability support services. She can offer support work services independently under her ABN or under a provider.
She provides emotional, nervous system and wellbeing support for adults who are self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS, including psychosocial needs.
Sessions can support you to:
-
Build emotional steadiness in daily life
-
Work with your nervous system rather than fighting it
-
Manage overwhelm, shutdown, anxiety and stress responses
-
Explore ADHD, trauma, chronic fatigue and long-term stress safely
-
Strengthen routines, communication and self-advocacy
-
Reconnect with confidence, direction and a sense of self
These sessions sit alongside any clinical or medical care you receive. They are warm, grounded and human.
If you are an NDIS participant or support coordinator, you are welcome to get in touch to check suitability and invoicing details.
